We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for all of your support, love and kindness during this time, as we mourn the loss of beloved wife, mother, granny and friend, Janet Oswald. This web page has been set up to provide information about the funeral and also to provide an opportunity for her friends and family to share memories and stories in celebration of her rich life. Janet was such a positive and generous-hearted person and had so much love to give, not just to her extended family but also to her many friends. She leaves us all with so many treasured and happy memories.
A celebration of Janet Oswald’s life
The funeral service is at St Thomas-on-the-Bourne, Farnham, on Monday 23 January 2023 at 12:30pm. Everyone is welcome, but we do ask if you could let us know in advance if you plan to attend by responding here: https://bit.ly/Janet-Oswald-RSVP. There is limited parking at the church, so please use the side streets around and behind the church if necessary. The service will also be live-streamed (see details below).
Donations
The family would ask for donations to Janet and Richard Oswald’s preferred charity, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, in lieu of flowers. Any contributions would make such a difference to the important work of this organisation. Thank you.

Thank you Janet for being you and part of our lives.
You have always been an inspiration to me, so full of adventure, kind and creative, always making things, interested in new ideas.
We loved visiting you, and having you visit us, to enjoy doing the same things, especially our last picnic together in a cosy corner at the beautiful gardens in Wisley during Covid.
You can be assured you will always be remembered and surrounded by the love of your friends & family.
A truly loving generous cousin who enhanced all our lives.
May the Lord Bless you and Keep You, may the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, and give you peace. Amen
